Orphan support keeps children in school.
When a member passes away, NTINDA BLO contributes 150,000 UGX per term to the family. The amount supports all of that member's orphaned children collectively, not each child separately.
The terms
Exactly what is paid, and for how long.
- Amount
- 150,000 UGX per term, paid to the family.
- Who is covered
- All orphaned children of the member, collectively. The figure is not multiplied by the number of children.
- How long
- Support continues until the last child finishes S.4 or turns 18.
- Review
- The amount is subject to committee review based on available funds.
Benefits open once a member has been active for six months. Bring proof of membership when you claim.
