NTINDA BLO is a community-based organisation registered with the Ugandan government under registration number NAK/18/044, working from Texas House at Plot No. 1182 on the Ntinda Kisasi Road, Kampala.
Who we are
Founded because no family carries an emergency alone.
NTINDA BLO, Ntinda Better Lives Organization for Development, is formally affiliated with Ntinda Entrepreneurs Cooperative Society Limited, which opens savings, business loans and land acquisition loans to our members.
We were founded by community members who recognised that individual families cannot overcome emergencies like sickness, death or education costs on their own. By pooling resources together we create a safety net that catches every member at their most vulnerable moment.
Over 1,000 members now contribute 7,500 UGX a month, which is 90,000 UGX a year. That pool pays the clinic, supports orphaned children, and stands with a family at a burial.

Affiliation
How the cooperative works with us.
Membership of NTINDA BLO is the door. Ntinda Entrepreneurs Cooperative Society Limited is the instrument. Once your contributions are current, the cooperative opens savings accounts, business loans, land acquisition loans and construction loans on its own terms.
The two bodies are separate. BLO pays the benefits set out on our programs page. The cooperative lends. What BLO gives you is standing: a member in good order on our register is a member the society already knows. The detail is on the financial inclusion page.
